Often times the cervical part of a tooth needs to be protected by a crown or cap. This may result from a fractured tooth, a need for root canal therapy, decay or the breakdown of a large restoration. Traditionally this involves multiple visits, messy impressions, temporary caps that don’t feel natural or don’t stay in place. With Cerec your crown optical impression is done with a special camera. The custom fit is designed with a computer and it is milled while you relax. The beauty is, the restoration is placed in the same visit! We realize you do have better things to do with your time.
