Hemali Hufton, DDS
Dr. Hemali Hufton is originally from Burlington, Massachusetts and is proud to be a triple Tufts University graduate (AKA triple Jumbo!) She earned her Bachelor of Science from Tufts and went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2020, graduating magna cum laude in the top 3% of her class.
During dental school, Dr. Hufton was selected for the Honors Orthodontic Elective Program and participated in a dental outreach mission to Peru, where she provided care to underserved communities. She was also inducted into several honor societies, including Omicron Kappa Upsilon for academic excellence, the Robert R. Andrews Research Honor Society for her contributions to dental research, and the Honos Civicus Society for her commitment to community service and leadership.
Dr. Hufton also completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Tufts, further refining her clinical skills. After practicing for several years in the Upper Valley, Dr. Hufton and her husband, Josh, made the decision to plant roots in Southern New Hampshire to be closer to family. Josh grew up in Londonderry and has been a lifelong patient at Ahern & Nichols, along with several members of his family. Now, it’s come full circle: Dr. Hufton is proud to serve the community that has been an important part of her family’s life for generations.
Dr. Hufton values building strong relationships with her patients and takes pride in helping them feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New Hampshire Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry, and she stays current with the latest in dental advancements.
Dr. Hufton and her husband Josh reside in Londonderry with their two cats, Zeus and Titan. When she’s not in the office, Dr. Hufton loves reading and regularly takes part in the Londonderry Readers Book Club. She also enjoys exploring new local restaurants and coffee shops, staying active with indoor cycling, and spending time with her family and friends.
